It is written and maintained by a small editorial team.

It is not affiliated with the UK Government, the Department for Business and Trade, the Financial Conduct Authority, the Prudential Regulation Authority, the Financial Reporting Council, the IFRS Foundation, or any other regulatory body.

Citation policy

Every figure and claim on this site traces to a named primary source — legislation, a regulator's own publication, or the relevant standard-setter.

Where a source is provisional, such as a consultation paper awaiting a policy statement, the page says so rather than presenting a proposal as settled law.
